ETC.

Because I haven’t written since Monday, this post will be kind of a catch-up on things I came across this week.

Garance Doré

My cousin sent me a link to this blog a few days ago, and I’ve been browsing over it since.

I’m still not completely sure what Garance Doré would title herself as – a designer, an artist, a photographer, a freelance…creative genius? But in any case, I really enjoy her sketches. Some of them actually appeared on a line of T-shirts she designed for Gap this fall. Too bad they were only available in Europe!

Copycat!

Remember the $60 Sam Edelman flats I got on Black Friday?

Vogue Paris just featured a pair by Dior that are very similar, but they're about six times the price. Bargain hunting has been good to me.

Margot

I want this fur coat so bad! At about 8,500 Euro, it’s slightly out of my price range, but someday I will have it.

It reminds me of Margot Tenenbaum, who is one of my fictional fashion icons/idols.

Corinne Day

is a very famous fashion photographer whose website has been one of the major causes for my delinquency from studying this week. She’s mostly known for a series of Kate Moss circa 1993, but I also enjoy her other work.

That’s all for now! Hopefully I will be able to post a little more next week/after next week. And here’s to hoping I come out of my six-hour French Business exam alive this Monday…After that I'm going to take a loooong nap with MagMag.
